Lynn Trepp has a unique background that combines product design and business strategy, in roles as consultant, designer, educator, and entrepreneur.

Lynn has advised countless startup entrepreneurs and small business owners in starting, operating, and growing their businesses.

Lynn helps teams explore, discover, conceptualize and build unique, differentiated, engaging products, services, and customer experiences.

Other areas of expertise and interest are marketing analysis, brand, competitive strategy, and sales forecast modeling.

Designer

Lynn Trepp, under the Modern XYZ brand, researches, explores, conceptualizes and builds unique objects, products and structures that impact visual and material culture.

Lynn was project lead of a 3-person team in a national design competition (BetterBlock.org) in the summer of 2024. Lynn’s team was selected as a top 10 finalist for their design of urban seating for outdoor public spaces.

Educator

Lynn Trepp is currently Adjunct Faculty, Business, at North Seattle College.

Lynn also served as Adjunct Faculty (Online), Design Thinking, NewSchool of Architecture + Design (San Diego) and University of Petroleum + Energy Studies (Dehradun, India), partner universities.

Earlier, Lynn resided in Beijing, China, where she served as Faculty, 3D Product Design/Industrial Design, at Raffles Design Institute.

Education

Lynn Trepp earned an MBA at University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. Later, Lynn earned a Certificate, Design Thinking, from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Lynn also studied Corporate Finance at U.C. Berkeley Extension.

Lynn earned a BFA, Industrial Design at University of Washington.
